Submit an Event to the Main Texas State Calendar

Please note that University Marketing does not accept homepage event requests.

However, you can request that your event be added to the Main University Events Calendar.

Trumba Editors

If you are the editor of a calendar in Trumba, follow these directions to submit an event to the Main Texas State Calendar. This event will also show up on your department or organization’s calendar (the calendar which you are making the request from).

  1. From your own calendar, click “Add Event”
  2. Choose the template titled “Main TXST Calendar – On Campus Event” or “Main TXST Calendar – Off Campus Event”
  3. After filling out all required event details, choose the check box “Texas State University Events >> Request for main calendar” under “Also Shows On”
  4. Click “Ok” to submit the event
  5. Return to the “Texas State University Events” calendar within 3–5 business days of event submission to see if the event was accepted
  6. If the event requires changes after you already submitted, email mainevents@txstate.edu

General Users

Anyone is welcome to submit an event that has an official Texas State sponsor to the Main Texas State Calendar. You can do so by following these directions:

  1. Visit the event submission form at on our main events homepage.
  2. Choose the template titled “Main TXST Calendar – On Campus Event” or “Main TXST Calendar – Off Campus Event”
  3. After filling out all required event details, submit the form
  4. Return to the “Texas State University Events” calendar within 3–5 business days of event submission to see if the event was accepted
  5. If the event requires changes after you already submitted, email mainevents@txstate.edu
